Efthymia Katsouri is a Partner at Katsouris Law Firm in Glyfada, Athens. Having lived in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Greece, she is a native bilingual speaker of English and Greek and understands first-hand what it means to live, invest and own property across borders. That background shapes her practice: she advises private clients, families and investors whose wealth, property and family ties span more than one country.
Since 2014 her work has centred on private wealth and private international law, with particular emphasis on planning, structuring and tax. She helps clients structure their property holdings and investments in Greece, plan cross-border succession and the inheritance of Greek assets, and manage the tax consequences of buying, owning and passing on property.
Real estate and construction are where her passion lies. As a Partner, she works on property acquisitions and due diligence, construction and development projects, and hotel and tourism investments, guiding individuals, families and developers from the first plan to the finished building.
From 2015 to 2023 she served as Legal Advisor to The American College of Greece. Between 2015 and 2017 she was Vice President of the European Democrat Students (EDS) in Brussels.
Efthymia holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Laws (LLM) in European Law from the University of Surrey. She is a member of the Athens Bar Association.
